Water Control

Water Is a Problem When it's Uncontrolled

  • Over ½ of Central New York basements leak, yet less than ½ of those have systems to deal with it.
  • Wet basements prevent homeowners from using their entire investment.
  • Wet basements cause allergies that worsen asthma and other symptoms.
  • Wet basements are one of the most intimidating problems in a home; it’s hard, if not impossible, to sell a home with a wet basement. Most prospective homebuyers admit they’ll not buy a home with a wet basement.

Water Isn't a Problem When it's Controlled

BASEMENT WATER CONTROL AND INTERIOR REMODELING ARE OUR AREAS OF EXPERTISE; IT’S WHY OTHER HOME IMPROVEMENT COMPANIES, REALTORS, AND LANDLORDS CALL ON US TO RESOLVE THEIR WET BASEMENT PROBLEMS.

  • Instead of moving into larger homes with higher taxes and utility costs, more and more Central New Yorkers are using their ENTIRE homes.
  • A home with a transferrable warranty for a dry basement is more desirable to prospective buyers than a basement that looks wet or smells damp.
  • Our experience is that most wet basement issues are not as difficult to resolve as homeowners/property owners think.

We have a variety of approaches to solving wet basement problems. There is no one-size-fits-all solution for leaking or flooding basements; however, most basements in Central New York have similar issues and we have an exclusive, patented system designed to deal with it . . . GUARANTEED!

before and after wet basement

This basement is ready for remodeling, storage, or just about anything the homeowner would like to do with it. It hadn’t been dry in over 10 years; but we did it in 2 DAYS! And guaranteed for 25 years!

The Baseboard Water Control System is LESS MESS, LESS INTRUSIVE, and typically LESS EXPENSIVE than trenching up your basement to install pipe or taking a chance on sealants or exterior approaches that have little or no success (or warranties for that matter).

WHATEVER YOU DO IN YOUR HOME . . . DO IT WITH A DRY BASEMENT!

Our System Works if Your Basement Walls Are . . .

Concrete block - absorb and retain water, which ultimately relieves itself as humidity, dampness, or standing water. This creates pressure inside of the concrete block, because the water rises several inches, ultimately creating enough pressure that water is released as heavy seepage or flooding. Since the key is controlling the water; pressure is relieved by drilling holes at the base of the wall and trapping the water within the system which guides it to a floor drain or our Super-Syphon sump system (each application varies slightly).

Poured concrete - walls can crack from the upper part of the wall extending down to the floor that seeps water, which relieves pressure. The cracks are sealed to just below the top of the system; this drives the water into the system and into the drain or Super-Syphon.

Stone - suitable for this system provided there is a concrete floor; there are a variety of methods for this type of application. Whether your foundation is poured concrete, stone, or concrete block, our system will work.

At just over 4” high, the Baseboard Water Control system is bonded to the floor, which allows water to travel into small holes behind it and promotes air flow that helps prevent standing water, which causes excessive humidity. The system is made from PVC, which doesn’t promote fungus or mold growth; it’s the same material that pipes are made from. The system is sealed on all sides with a hinge on the front that also serves as a bumper to reduce the chance of damage if it is jarred.
